Author Guidelines

Our journal is committed to publishing high-quality, original research that contributes to the advancement of IoT technologies and applications. To ensure a seamless submission and publication process, please adhere to the detailed guidelines provided below.

Manuscript Categories

We welcome submissions in the following categories:

  • Research Articles: Comprehensive presentations of original findings in IoT.
  • Review Papers: Analytical overviews of specific topics within the IoT domain.
  • Case Studies: In-depth analyses of IoT implementations and their outcomes.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports showcasing innovative concepts or preliminary results.

Preparation of Manuscripts

Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word or LaTeX using a clear, legible font of at least 11 points.
  • Ensure the document is double-spaced and includes consecutive line numbering for easy review.

Structure

Your manuscript should be organized as follows:

  1. Title: Provide a concise, informative title that reflects the core findings of your study.
  2. Abstract: Include a 200–250 word summary outlining the study's objectives, methods, results, and implications.
  3. Keywords: List 5–7 relevant keywords to enhance discoverability.
  4. Introduction: Clearly state the background, objectives, and significance of the study.
  5. Materials and Methods: Provide sufficient detail to allow replication of the work.
  6. Results: Present findings with appropriate use of tables and figures.
  7. Discussion: Interpret the results, highlighting their implications and relevance to the field.
  8. Conclusions: Summarize the main findings and suggest directions for future research.
  9. References: Use the APA citation style, ensuring all sources are properly cited.

Figures and Tables

  • Include all figures and tables within the manuscript at appropriate locations.
  • Each figure and table must have a descriptive caption and be of sufficient resolution for publication.

Submission Process

Online Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the GSI Journal of IoT online submission system.
  • First-time users will need to register an account before submitting.

Cover Letter

  • A cover letter is required with each submission. It should:
    • Highlight the manuscript's significance.
    • Confirm the work is original and not under consideration elsewhere.

Peer Review

  • All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure impartiality. Authors and reviewers will remain anonymous during the process.

Publication Ethics

Originality

  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • Authors must acknowledge all data sources and cite influential publications.

Plagiarism

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All manuscripts are screened for originality. Submissions found guilty of plagiarism will be rejected immediately.

Authorship

  • All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the study.
  • Contributors who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.

Post-Acceptance

Once a manuscript is accepted:

  • Authors must provide the final version of their manuscript with all figures and tables formatted for publication.
  • Authors are required to sign the open access license agreement, allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of the work.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The GSI Journal of IoT is an open access journal. Authors will be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance. Details about the APC and payment instructions will be provided during the acceptance process.

✅ Conflict of Interest

  • All conflicts of interest are clearly disclosed within the manuscript. If none exist, this is explicitly stated.

Authorship

✅ Author Contributions and Contact

  • All authors who contributed significantly to the research and manuscript preparation are listed.
  • Accurate and complete corresponding author details are provided.

Cover Letter
