Author Guidelines

We are dedicated to publishing high-quality research in finance, innovation, and strategic management. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, authors must adhere to the following guidelines when preparing their manuscripts.


Manuscript Categories

We accept the following types of submissions:

  • Research Articles: Comprehensive presentations of original findings in finance, innovation, or strategy.
  • Review Papers: In-depth analyses and syntheses of existing literature in related fields.
  • Case Studies: Detailed examinations of specific practices, models, or real-world applications in finance and strategic innovation.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports of preliminary findings or novel concepts.

Manuscript Formatting

General Formatting

  • File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word or LaTeX.
  • Font and Size: Use a clear, readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12-point).
  • Line Spacing: Double-space the text throughout the manuscript.
  • Margins: Use standard 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Line Numbers: Include consecutive line numbers for easy reference during peer review.

Manuscript Structure

  1. Title Page

    • Title: Provide a concise and informative title.
    • Author Details: Include full names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses for all authors.
    • Corresponding Author: Clearly identify the corresponding author.
  2. Abstract

    • Length: 200–250 words.
    • Content: Summarize the study’s objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  3. Keywords

    • Provide 5–7 keywords that accurately reflect the manuscript's primary themes.
  4. Main Text

    • Introduction: State the research question, background, and significance.
    • Methods: Provide enough detail to allow replication of the study.
    • Results: Present findings with clear and concise tables, figures, or charts.
    • Discussion: Interpret results in the context of the field, and highlight implications.
    • Conclusion: Summarize key findings and suggest future research directions.
  5. References

    • Follow APA Style (7th edition) for all citations and references.

Figures and Tables

  • Embed figures and tables within the manuscript at appropriate points.
  • Include a clear, descriptive caption for each figure and table.
  • Provide high-resolution versions of all figures in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF formats.

Additional Requirements

  1. Ethics and Integrity

    • Ensure that the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
    • Cite all sources accurately and acknowledge funding or institutional support where applicable.
  2. Authorship

    • List only contributors who have made significant contributions to the research.
  3. Plagiarism Policy

    • Submissions are checked for originality. Manuscripts found to have significant plagiarism will be rejected outright.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before proceeding with your submission to the GSI Journal of Finance, Innovation, and Strategy, please ensure that your manuscript complies with the following requirements. This checklist is designed to streamline the review process and improve the likelihood of a successful submission.


Manuscript Preparation

✅ The manuscript adheres to the journal’s guidelines, including:

  • Formatting in Microsoft Word or LaTeX.
  • A readable font size of at least 12 points with double-spacing throughout.
  • Consecutive line numbering for reviewer reference.

✅ The manuscript includes the following sections in the correct order:

  • Title page with author details (names, affiliations, corresponding author).
  • Abstract (200–250 words).
  • Keywords (5–7 terms).
  • Main sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
  • References formatted in APA Style (7th edition).

Content Compliance

✅ The submission is original, has not been published before, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
✅ All data sources and references are accurately cited and acknowledged.
✅ The manuscript includes:

  • A clear and concise title.
  • Figures and tables embedded within the manuscript and appropriately captioned.
  • High-resolution versions of figures uploaded separately if required.

Ethics and Disclosures

✅ All necessary ethical approvals for research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data have been obtained and are mentioned in the manuscript.
✅ Any potential conflicts of interest are disclosed in a conflict-of-interest statement.
✅ Funding sources and grant numbers (if applicable) are acknowledged in the manuscript.


Supplementary Files (if applicable)

✅ Any supplementary materials (e.g., datasets, statistical codes, survey tools) are uploaded as separate, clearly labeled files.


Author Responsibilities

✅ All authors have made significant contributions to the work and are listed appropriately.
✅ The corresponding author’s contact details are accurate and complete.
✅ A cover letter summarizing the significance of the research and confirming its originality is included.


Article Processing Charge (APC)

✅ The authors acknowledge that an Article Processing Charge (APC) will be applicable upon acceptance. Details of the APC are outlined in the journal’s policies.
