Submission Guidelines

Before You Begin: Understanding the Submission Process

Thank you for considering the GSI Journals for your manuscript. To ensure a clear and efficient submission process, here is a brief overview of what you can expect:

  1. Preparation: Before submitting, please thoroughly read our Author Guidelines to ensure your manuscript meets all formatting and content requirements. This includes structuring your manuscript correctly, adhering to our referencing style, and ensuring all figures and tables are properly prepared.

  2. Registration and Submission: If you are a first-time user of our submission system, you will need to register an account. Once registered, you can log in to submit your manuscript. The submission process is straightforward and will guide you through entering your manuscript details, uploading your files, and confirming your submission.

  3. Peer Review: After submission, your manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means that both you and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other. The review process is designed to assess the quality, relevance, and originality of your work.

  4. Decision and Revisions: Once the review process is complete, you will receive a decision on your manuscript. This may be an acceptance, a request for revisions, or a rejection. If revisions are requested, you will be given detailed feedback on how to improve your manuscript for resubmission.

  5. Acceptance and Publication: Upon acceptance, you will be asked to submit a final version of your manuscript along with any required documents, such as copyright transfer agreements. At this stage, you will also be informed about the Article Processing Charge (APC) and payment instructions. Once the APC is processed, your manuscript will be prepared for publication and made openly accessible on our platform.

  6. Post-Publication: After your article is published, it will be widely disseminated and accessible to readers worldwide. We encourage you to share your published work with your network and on social media to increase its visibility and impact.

    Upload Files: Guidance for Authors

During the submission process for the GSI Journals, you will reach the "Upload Files" step. This crucial phase requires you to upload several types of files associated with your manuscript. To ensure a smooth submission process, please prepare and upload the following files:

    1. Manuscript File: This is the main document of your submission, containing the complete text of your article, including abstract, keywords, main text, references, figures, and tables. Please ensure this document adheres to the formatting guidelines provided in the Author Guidelines.

    2. Figures: While figures should be included within the manuscript file at appropriate points, you are also asked to upload high-resolution versions of each figure separately. This ensures clarity and quality in the review and publication process. Acceptable formats include JPEG, PNG, or TIFF.

    3. Tables: If your manuscript includes tables that are not embedded in the main manuscript file, please upload them as separate files. Ensure that each table is clearly labeled and cited within the text.

    4. Supplementary Materials: If your study includes additional supporting information, such as datasets, questionnaires, or software code, these should be uploaded as supplementary materials. Clearly label each supplementary file to facilitate reviewers' and readers' understanding.

    5. Cover Letter: Upload a cover letter as a separate file. Your cover letter should address the significance of your research, and its contribution to the field of the journal you are submitting to, and confirm that the submission is original and not under consideration elsewhere.

    6. Ethics Approval (if applicable): If your research involved human participants, animals, or potentially sensitive data, please include documentation of ethics approval from the relevant committee or authority.

    7. Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Provide a statement file detailing any potential conflicts of interest or stating that there are none.

    8. Authorship Declaration: Upload a document that lists all authors, their contributions to the study, and confirms that all listed authors have agreed to the submission.

Each file should be clearly labeled to indicate its content (e.g., "Manuscript_Title_Figures", "Manuscript_Title_Tables", "Supplementary_Material_DataSet"). This organization aids the editorial team in efficiently processing and reviewing your submission.

Please review your files for compliance with our submission guidelines before uploading. If you have any questions or encounter difficulties during the file upload process, do not hesitate to contact the editorial office for assistance.

    Contributors: Information Submission Guide

During the "Contributors" step of your manuscript submission to the GSI Journals, you will be asked to provide detailed information about all individuals who have made significant contributions to your work. This includes not only the co-authors but also any other contributors who have played a noteworthy role in the research or preparation of the manuscript. Here is what you need to know and prepare for this important step:

    For All Co-Authors

    • Full Names: Provide the complete names of all co-authors as they should appear in the publication.
    • Affiliations: List the institutional affiliations for each co-author, including the department, university or organization, city, and country.
    • Email Addresses: Include a valid email address for each co-author. This is crucial for correspondence and to keep all contributors informed throughout the publication process.

    • ORCID ID: If available, provide the ORCID ID for each co-author. ORCID provides a unique identifier for researchers and a way to link their contributions and affiliations.

    For Other Significant Contributors

    • Acknowledgments: It's important to acknowledge individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet the criteria for authorship. This may include individuals who provided technical help, writing assistance, general support, or a department chair who provided only general support.
    • Role Description: For each acknowledged individual, provide a brief description of their contribution to your work.

    Ethical and Disclosure Information

    • Conflict of Interest: Clearly state any potential conflicts of interest for each co-author or contributor. If there are none, this should also be explicitly stated.

By providing comprehensive and accurate information about all contributors, you ensure proper attribution and recognition for everyone involved in your research. This transparency is essential for the integrity of the publication process and aligns with the ethical standards of scholarly communication.
